From the time we opened our B&B with a view in 2017, our breakfasts – made with local, organic and handmade ingredients, lovingly cooked and presented – have received high praise and drawn guests back to stay with us time and again. For breakfast lovers, a relaxed and delicious morning meal with our stunning view is a wonderful way to start the day. Guests with intolerances or allergies particularly need to feel safe and well-catered for so we offer gluten free (for people suffering from coeliac disease), vegetarian and vegan food as well as well-known regular and traditional breakfast delights.
Our Breakfast à la carte menu offers a wide repertoire of delicious breakfast dishes to cater for all tastes and, somewhat unusually, for a set price of only £15 per person per night. We love to spoil our guests! For our very hungry guests, you will see that you can also order larger portions for a small extra price.
For those guests who prefer a lighter and smaller breakfast we offer our Lite Bite Breakfast Menu with individual prices. Please browse both at your leisure and choose the option best suited to you when you book.
PLEASE NOTE: Your choices for breakfast are made freshly and served straight to your table, according to the order you make the evening before.

As well as vegetarian, vegan and Gluten Free options, we also serve delicious, award-winning Cumberland sausage (also a very tasty Gluten Free variety), bacon and black pudding from Lindsays of Cockermouth and delicious, white or brown toasted sourdough bread to your meal and offer a range of delicious, locally produced Claire’s Handmade preserves to choose from.
The order form for your breakfast will be in your room and we request you hand it in by 7pm the evening before by popping it into the green Post Box in the hall.
Please note: We take a minimum down-payment of £5 per person when you book the Lite Bite Breakfast menu and this will be taken into consideration on your breakfast invoice at the end of your stay, according to what you have ordered.
